Surely you must be kidding. A GPS receiver has been standard on the iPhone 3G since the middle of 2008. I am running G-Map on my iPhone and have turn-by-turn directions with Mapteq maps and no necessity for a cell signal, only a proper GPS lock. This is on a standard locked iPhone on AT&amp;T.</description>
